Gentlemen:
We have observed the drilling of several of the ten (10) inch
diameter, straight shaft piers supporting the residence under
construction at Lot 9, Huntington Hills Third Filing (437 Derry
Drive), a subdivision of Larimer County, Colorado. This inspection
was performed on October 11, 1995.
Exposed soils measured from original grade consist of six (6) feet
of silty, sandy clay over a claystone bedrock which extends to the
depths drilled, approximately twelve (12) feet.
All piers observed were plumb, properly cleaned, and of adequate
length as specified on our foundation plan, Job No. 110-45-10-01.
No water was encountered during drilling. Casing was not required.
