Dear Mr. Micallef:
We have observed the drilling of several of the ten (10) inch
diameter, straight shaft piers supporting the residence under
construction at Lot 150, Huntington Hills Second Filing (419 Derry
Drive), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This inspection
was performed on June 16, 1994.
Exposed soils measured from original grade consist of five (5) feet
of sandy clay over a claystone bedrock which extends to the depths
drilled, approximately fifteen (15) feet.
All piers observed were plumb, properly cleaned, and of adequate
length as specified on our foundation plan, Job No. 1122-07-09-01.
No water was encountered during drilling. Casing was not required.
