Dear Amory,
The City of Fort Collins Building Department was notified by Excel Energy that a tank
less water heater had been installed improperly at the above referenced address. To date
our records do not show a permit being issued nor has an inspection been made for said
installation. This is a direct violation of the 2003"International Residential Code Section
R105.1 adopted by the City of Fort Collins. You have failed to respond to a Building
Code Violation dated 10/03/2006 and a Final Notice Building Code Violation dated
12/27/2006.
Enclosed is a summons to appear in Municipal Court at which time you will be able to
explain why you have not complied with the City of Fort Collins Building Codes. If you
have any questions regarding this matter you may call the City of Fort Collins Building
Department at 221-6760.
