Description of Work: VT of structural steel erection.
Persons Notified of Results: M. Walker/Terracon; T. French/Tiger
Observations: Per the request of T. French of Tiger Steel, visual observation of the erection of
structural steel was performed at the Roof level at lines T.5-V, 3-5. Beam reinforcing at new cooling
tower location was observed with the following conditions noted:
Rods have been placed at beam bottom flanges; cover plates are detailed.
Rod welding was noted as approximately 90% complete this date with weld quality noted as
acceptable in completed areas.
