Observations made during the foundation construction indicate that the foundation wall steel placement is in accordance with the plans and specifications for this project. The steel roof beam was welded to the bearing plate at the four columns with a 1 /4" fillet weld the full length of the base plate at each side of the steel beam bottom flange. Based on our observations, it is our opinion the weld sizes are in accordance with the shop drawings prepared for the project.
