"A person constructing his own home without the aid of a licensed contractor
may secure a permit on only one residence in any three year period. The contrac-
tion of more than one residence by said person in any three year period shall be
presumed to have been for resale.
A contractor is any person, firm, copartnership or corporation . . . who
builds, constructs, alters, repairs, adds to, moves or wrecks any building
or structure either on his own or other property for the purpose of resale or
rental.

I in order to convince the
Building Inspector of Fort Collins that I am eligible and qualify for a
homeowner's permit do hereby certify:

a. That I have read and understand the above excerpts from the City of
Fort Collins Code, and am not a contractor as defined above.
b. I have applied for and been issued the following home -owner permits
in the last three Years:
[Note: If within three years of todav's date, you have taken a
permit for a one -family residence then you are not eligible
for a homeowner's permit on another residence.]
C. That the work to be done under the permit for which I am applying
