You are hereby notified that the above referenced property is in violation of the following
sections of the Uniform Codes as adopted by the City of Fort Collins:
1997 UNIFORIM BUILDING -CODE SECTION-1f06:1- REGARDING- A PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR
FINISH OF BASEMENT TO A HABITABLE AREA. THE PROPERTY LISTED ABOVE HAS NO
RECORD SHOWING PERMIT FOR FINISHED BASEMENT AREA. PAINTED CINDER BLOCK
WALLS, FAINTED PREESBOARD ON -THE FLOOR JOISTS AND A FEW OUTLETS IN
PERIMETER WALLS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A FINISHED BASEMENT. THE INTERIOR
WALL CONSTRUCTION DONE WITHOUT PERMIT IS A VIOLATION OF THE BUILDING CODE
AND WILL BE LISTED IN THE FILE AS AN ILLEGAL BASEMENT, ANY USE OTHER THAN
STORAGE IS PROHIBITED.
These Code violations shall be corrected by: CORYTO FILE
If you cannot comply within the time limit specified, please contact this office and
explain any mitigating circumstances you feel may be cause for an extension, otherwise
you will be served a court summons and be subject to a maximum fine of S1000.00 per
day per violation.
Be advised that if future violations of this nature are discovered, you will be issued a
court summons without further notification.
