INSTRUCTIONS FOR GAS PIPE TESTS ON RETRO-FIT GAS LOGS INSTALLED BY A
PERSON LICENSED BY EITHER COLORADO STATE OR THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS.
1• Gas pipe tests may be performed and verified by a person licensed for gas piping
in lieu of an inspection by a Larimer County inspector, FOR CAS LOG INSTALLATION
ONLY!!
2. The test shall be at IN air pressure for a duration of 15 minutes.
3. Fill out the Larimer. County form letter and leave it with the inspection card
ac the jobsiee.
4- After installation is complete with logs in place and operable, call for a
final inspection by the building departmene.

If the a ova OpCion is not used, call for an inspection of the gas line by Latimer
County. A second and final inspection will then be required after the unit is
operable.
