As requested we have reviewed the following framing item at the referenced project.
• The mono trusses at the garage are supported at the second floor by hanging the
trusses to a 2x12 which is suspended from the second floor framing with 7/16" OSB
extending 8 feet vertically. Based on the imposed loads it is our opinion the OSB and
2x12 ledger is adequate to support the ends of the mono trusses. The OSB should
be nailed to the 2x12 with (3)-8d nails at 3" on center or (12)-8d nails per foot.
