Terracon observed foundation construction at the referenced project on September 3, 1998.
Observations made during the foundation construction indicate that the foundation wall steel placement
is in accordance with the plans and specifications for this project.

Terracon observed caisson construction at the referenced project on August 26, 1998. Specifically
caisson in the northwest comer and two caissons in he east portion of the basement addition were
observed. These caissons were observed for depth of penetration into firm bedrock and condition of he
completed drill hole. In addition, observations were made of caisson diameter, plumb tolerance,
reinforcing steel and concrete placement. In our opinion, the caissons observed were constructed in
accordance with the plans and specifications for the project.
