Gentlemen:
We have inspected the open excavation at Lot 5, The Ramparts at
Miramont (908 Pinnacle Place), a subdivision of Fort. Collins,
Colorado. This inspection was performed on December 16, 1996.
Exposed soils indicate the use of a drilled pier type foundation
system designed in accordance with the soils report performed by
Earth Engineering, Job No. 19320S3, dated January 14, 1994. No
water was encountered to a depth of approximately seven (7) feet.
Due to the measured depth of bedrock below footing elevation, it is
our opinion that an exterior perimeter drain is required for this
structure.
