On September 1, 1989, a Publi(, Service Company employee made a
service call ro the property located at 90.1 West Mulberry
Street.
Inspection revealed that the flor furnace vent is rusted out
and backdrafting; there are leaks on the manual pilot and
burner valves, pilot tubing and fittings. Because this
condition poses a definite safety hazard, service to the floor
furnace was discontinued.
The control valve on the water heater is leaking, so a warning
tag was issued on this appliance.
For safety reasons we advise you to have this problem
corrected by a qualified repairman of your choice. After
repairs have been made, please notify us in writing of the
repair date, type of repairs, and the name of the firm
and/or repairman so we may update our files.
A copy of this letter will be forwarded to the city/county
building department officials. Please be advised that in some
cases a building permit will be required to make repairs. This
is the responsibility of your repairman and/or heating
contractor.
