OBSERVATIONS
In general, the concrete forms were properly set and free of debris. The reinforcing steel required
for the pads was located adjacent to the forms, ready for placement. Vertical dowels consisting of
No. 4 Grade 60 reinforcing steel was also ready for placement. The width of the wall footings and
the size of the pads appeared to be consistent with the requirements of the foundation plan
prepared by this office.
FIELD INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN
Instructed the concrete foreman to provide continuous footings between the crawl space and
basement levels.
