Strand 631 Endicott Street Fort Collins, Colorado 80524 Re: Storage shed Dear Laurie, County records list you as the owner of the above -mentioned property at which a new storage shed has been placed. We at the building department have received an inquire about the shed. Upon a site investigation, it has been determined that while the shed does meet the size and height requirements for city codes not to require a permit, the spot in which the shed has been placed has created a violation. The violation involves setback restrictions on the rear and south sides of the property. Solutions are as follows: (1) removal of the shed from the property; (2) installation of 5/8" typc� x fire rated drywall inside the shed (this will require a building permit); (3) moving the shed back from the rear and south side property lines three (3) feet each direction. Please take time now to decide which direction you would like to go so that the situation can be resolved without issuing a building code violation notice.
