We 1-.ave observed the drilling ^f several of the ten (10) inch
diameter, straight shaft piers supporting the residence under
construction at Lot 33, Huntington Hills Fourth Filing (6167
Normandy Court), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This
inspection was performed on January 12, 1996.
Exposed soils measured from original grade consist of four (4) feet
of sandy clay over a claystone bedrock which extends to the depths
drilled, approximately twenty-three (23) feet.
All piers observed were plumb, properly cleaned, and of adequate
length as specified on our foundation plan, Job No. 2166-05-03-01.
Water was encountered during drilling. Therefore, we recommend
concrete be placed immediately after drilling of each individual
