Gentlemen:
We have inspected the open excavation at Lot 176, Huntington Hills
Second Filing (424 Saturn Drive), a subdivision of Fort Collins,
Colorado. This inspection was performed on December 27, 1995.
Exposed soils indicate the use of a balanced spread footing type
foundation system designed in accordance with the soils report
performed by Empire Laboratories, Inc., Job No. 3451-79, dated
February 20, 1979. No water was encountered to a depth of
approximately six (6) feet.
Dui to the ant cigsa-tad depth of groundwater and/or bedrock below
footing elevations, it is our opinion that an exterior perimeter
drain is not required for this structure.
