Gentlemen:
Terracon observed the perimeter drain at the referenced site on October 20, 1998. Four -inch
diameter, perforated PVC pipe was observed around the exterior perimeter of the basement
foundation. The drainage pipe exhibited positive drainage toward the sump in the northeast corner
of the basement. Maximum 1 %2-inch washed aggregate was observed above the pipe. Layers of
filter fabric were observed beneath the pipe and above the gravel.
In addition, the void forms were observed to be in good condition at the time of our site visit.
