Specifically, our observations indicate the following features are in general accordance with floor slab recommendations in our Geotechnical Engineering Report prepared for the subdivision on September 12, 1994 (Project No. 20945121): 1) void spaces below nonbearing walls, 2) positive separations and/or isolation joints between the slab and foundation walls, columns and plumbing and 3) contraction joints in the slab.
