We have visually observed the footing sizes for the addition under construction at the residence at
the above referenced location. This observation was performed on December 6, 2007.
It is our opinion that the footing sizes and widths were in general conformance with the foundation
plan, drawn by Crown Engineering,11c., Job No. 55-01-01-01.

We have visually observed the wall reinforcing placed in the forms for the addition under
construction at the above referenced location. This observation was performed on December 10,
2007.
It is our opinion that the reinforcement was in general conformance with the foundation plan, drawn
by Crown Engineering, llc., Job No. 55-01-01-01.

Re: Exterior Perimeter Drain & Damp -proofing Observation
for 417 Grant St., Fort Collins, CO.

As requested, we have visually observed the damp proofing of the concrete basement walls along
with the perimeter drain being installed around the exterior perimeter bfthe basement of the
home under construction at the above referenced location. This observation was performed on
December 20, 2007.
The drain consists of 4" perforated pipe. It is placed around the basement perimeter and covered
with approximately 10" plus or minus of 3/4" or less pea gravel. The drain is to be sloped to
discharge into sump pump pits on the north and south sides of the basement. It is our opinion
that the perimeter drain as installed is an adequate means of draining any water that may filtrate
down to the basement elevation of the home.
