For Detention Pond 211, a conceptual 2-point rating curve was developed to limit the discharge to 9 cfs with the following values: (1) zero storage volume, zero discharge; and (2) required storage volume, allowable discharge (9 cfs). The results of an iterative analysis indicated that the required active storage volume is 2.3 acre-feet. This volume compares with a required volume of 1.4 acre-feet as documented in the Master Plan. As noted in the previous section, if the imperviousness of the future church site is greater than 40 percent, additional detention volume will be required to meet the allowable release rates in the regional channel. A summary of the detention pond statistics is given in Table 2.3. Documentation of the development of the storage discharge rating curves for the detention ponds is provided in Appendix C.
