Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 ' Dear Wes, ' The following is the analysis for the stormwater runoff at Houska South Subdivision. Lot One has an area of 2.1937 acres. The existing ground cover is dirt and a small amount of impervious surface. ' The interim temporary surface will be gravel. The final use of the site will have a building and hard surface parking. The 2-year historic runoff flows Northerly to Riverside Avenue from the South end of Lot One. The 2-year historic runoff rate is 0.56 c.f.s. and the 100-year historic runoff rate is 2.49 c.f.s. ' The temporary gravel surface will have a developed 2-year runoff rate of 1.60 c.f.s. The 100- year developed runoff rate will be 7.44 c.f.s. I am proposing that we do not have detention due to the fact the 9-foot outfall pipe in Lot One would be in the area adjacent to the detention pond. Also the site is within approximately 650 ' feet of the Cache la Poudre River. The runoff from the gravel surface should be allowed to discharge before the upstream runoff discharges into the river. ' The runoff will flow from the South line of the site along the East line of the site and then into the Riverside Avenue curb and then into the existing curb inlet near the Southeasterly corner of the site.
