Dear Glen:
This is regarding Our Saviour's Lutheran Church on Tract "F", Parkwood,
Fifth Filing, Fort Collins, Colorado. The address is 2000 South Lemay Avenue
and is located at the corner of South Lemay Avenue and Kirkwood Drive. The
area of the site is 3.05 acres of which 1.55 acres is landscap_ing and 1.50
acres is hard surfaced.
The site is within the Foothills Basin (Basin G). The site drains on
a moderate slope from West to Last. There is no of sit drainage entering
the site from the West. The South 350 feet of i"e discharges into the
Kirkwood Drive North curb and gutter an then flows Easterly to the existing
Parkwood East detention pond. This part of the site is fully developed.- &8&'hA
The North portion of the site contains the proposed additional impervious
area and drains Easterly along the North line of Parkwood. The entire church
site was included for the sizing of the Parkwood East Pond, however, we are
proposing a small detention area of 2916 cubic feet to detain the runoff

The church is proposing to construct an addition to the building and
an addition to the parking area on the North side of the church. With these
additions, the impervious area increases to 1.75 acres and the pervious area
becomes 1.30 acres. The runoff coefficient increases from 0.57 to 0.66.
The proposed detention pond and the additional building and asphalt
are shown on the attached drainage plan. The drainage calculations and the
mass diagrams are also made a part of this report.
