RE: D.rainage Certification for Prospect Commons P,U.D.
Dear Basil,
The following is a request to release the Certificate of Occupancy for Lot 1 Q of Prospect
Commons P.U.D. (1621 Ukiah Lane). As shown on the approved plans, a siQgle-family
residence with attached garage was constructed on Lot 16. Although the constructed
footprint differs rrolll the Qriginal plan, the drainage intent remains as designed:
The results of a recent siie visit, which included a visual inspection and site survey, are
included with letter as Figure 1. The site survey Was used to quantify comer lot
elevations, high points and finish floor elevations ofthe residence and garage.
The finished floor elevations on the resideoce (+I. 02') and garage ( + 1. 94 ') are
approximately l' and 2' respectively above what is shown on the approved grading plan.
Sufficient action was taken to-mitigate this change in elevation.
The rear yard sw~le, though higher i_n elevation than the approved plan, conveys water
southerly at approximately 1.5%. Due to elevation changes being made, grading
modifications may be necessary for Lot 15 which lies south of Lot 16. It should be noted
that the southerly side yard swale for Lot 17 has not been completed due to Lot 15 being
vacant.
