A partial certification was submitted to your office November 3, 2006; the certification stated that the spillway of the pond needed to be raised 3" to provide the required volume. The pond spillway elevation was raised on or about November 17, 2006 by approximately 3", verified by a site visit in late November 2006. The raised spillway increased the capacity by approximately 5,400 cf to a total volume of 63,600 cf; 63,500 cf is the required detention volume for Plantation Manor. Drainage facilities were examined during the site investigation; all inlets, pans, and storm sewer appear to be in good working condition. The pond outfall near Seneca was also examined, the pipes and inlet also appear to be in good working condition. In conclusion, the site drainage is complete and; all facilities are anticipated to perform as designed. The overlot grading does essentially follow the proposed grading plan. A survey conducted in July of 2006 provided the topography for this certification; a site visit November 3, 2006 confirmed drainage patterns and facility conditions. From the topography, the combined pond volume is calculated to be 58,100 cf. The design pond volume totaled 63,500 cf, or 5,400 cf short of storage. The pond spillway elevation was raised on or about November 17, 2006 by approximately 3", which increased capacity to 63,600 cf, slightly more than required. Drainage facilities were examined during the site investigation; all inlets, pans, and storm sewer appear to be in good working condition.
