Attached is the One Boardwalk overall lot and grading certification. A berm has been added to the inlet on the hill at the
northeast side of the site to alleviate the concern of water flowing directly over the inlet and down the hill. There is a
_ ..picture of -this attached at_the_end of the certification. As you have already transferred the asbuilt shots to the proposed
grading plan, I have not done so for this. There have only been a few shots added since the last submittal. These new
shots have been added to our asbuilt exhibit (attached at the end of the certification). For future submittals we will
transfer these shots ourselves. Let me know if you have any questions.

Dan and I did get out to the site yesterday. The grading and drainage is in pretty good shape. There are a couple of
items that are different than what the plans show. I talked with Michael Palizzi with Quality Engineering about these so I
think he understands what is left to do to get the escrows released.
/There was no survey information on the Swale along the west side of the property but the Swale is there and looks
correct.
XThere is information missing in the NE corner of the site including info on a Swale that isn't there but is shown on the
plans. I gave Michael the option to justify why it isn't needed or to actually build it as shown on the approved plan. I am
guessing it was to capture roof drainage so it would not flow over the sidewalk. Right now the grate is on a slope so no

- In the very NE corner there is was supposed to be a grate on a riser but instead there is a solid lid. Even if it was a
P. !grate it would be so high no water could get into it. It acts more as a clean out for the storm drain. Again it can be fixed
or explain away. It doesn't appear to be needed as a grate since it is on a slope. F0.0

The survey information was on a separate plan sheet so it made it more difficult to compare the approved grading
plan to the as constructed grades. Dan transferred all the elevation spots onto a copy of the approved plan. Please show^+
the additional elevations shots on a copy of the approved plans
The grading certification form has been altered from out standard form and is on Quality Engineering
letterhead. Please use the standard form.
I explained to Michael that the Overall site cert. is for the infrastructure like ponds, swales, pipes, inlets, grates,
etc. What was done is a combination of the Overall site certification with the grading certification. I don't see a reason
to make them break it down to the normal steps since it is already done and this is a fairly small project. We usually get
a separate grading certification for each building as they are finished that can include the associated driveways, parking
area and/or garages.

Once these issues are resolved I will release the escrow,

I just got your email and the building department is closed. Maybe we should call them together because what I see on
the computer is a blank for SWEng Final. I have meetings most of the morning but I will be at that building and can

I have released the SW Eng. Final hold on permit numbers B1206691, B1206715, & B1206708. The
system was finally fixed this morning. The escrows will be held until we can see the ground enough to
complete the site inspection and acceptance.

I did look into this and since we have the escrow and the certification in hand so I can change the TCOs
to COs. The Accela (Permit system) program is down today so as soon as it is fixed I will change them to
Cos.
As soon as we can see the ground good enough we will do the site visit and release the escrow $. If the
weather forecast is correct we should be able to do it maybe as early as Wednesday but Thursday or
Friday are probably better bets.

This issue now is the snow. It is pretty hard do a site grading inspection with the ground covered
up. The alternative for weather related delays is to escrow $2,500 per building permit. If you want to
wait until next week to see if the snow melts enough we can do that. I have temporary help that hasn't
done an overall site inspection. My schedule looks like I could go with him next Tuesday or Wednesday
afternoon.

Jay has been out since September 30`h and we don't expect him back until sometime after December
11. We do need to do a site inspection to verify the overall certification and with the snow it could be
we won't be able to do it until it melts some. I have temporary help but I need to know how urgent
these COs are. Please let me know or give me a call. My understanding is the certification discussed
below is for the overall site cert. and not the individual lots. So do you plan to submit them or what is
going on here?
