Subject: Observation of existing grade at 727 Laporte Avenue, Fort Collins, CO
A representative made a site visit to the address referenced above on 7/3/04 to observe
existing grade around the house and a recent addition to the south side of the house.
Although SECURE generally recommends a minimum grade of 10% within the first 10
feet away from the house, we recognize that due to lot size, house size, and existing
grade, a 10 % grade is not attainable. It is our opinion that this site has adequate drainage
and surface water is directed away from the foundation system.
