Mr. Barber:
This letter is in reference to the Lot Grading Certification for Lot 12, Block 268 of Loomis
Addition (321 S. Whitcomb Street). This structure was constructed in an existing subdivision
with an existing home on the north and several existing homes to the south of this property. The
grading for this lot is restricted by the adjacent existing residences and the desire to minimize the
impact on these properties. The lot grading as shown on the attached grade certification shows
that there are areas on this lot that don't meet the minimum 2% slopebut all areas show positive
.drainage from the structures and to the adjacent streets. Some slow drainage can be expected but
ponding should not occur. In light of the restrictions on this lot, the grading shown is adequate
for the lot and structures.
