Project Number : 93-907 Stormwater Certification of Improvements Dear Basil: Please find enclosed the following infomiabon relating to the Wooded Creek Court and South Shields Street intersection for the Chelsea Ridge Subdivision: 1. Field Notes .(Intermill Land Surveying) 2. "As Built" Plans 3. Original Erosion Control Estimate (December 28, 1992) h is my opinion, based on the survey information provided by Intermill Land Surveying and my field observations of December 15, 1995, that the improvements constructed are in substantial confasmance to the plans approved by the City of Fort Collins. Therefore, based on acceptance of this certification, we request that the City of Fort Collins: l . Complete final inspection and formally accept improvements for maintenance_ 2. (AKA: Chelsie Ridge Subdivision) Erosion Control Estimate Dear Cathy: Here are the cost estimates for the erosion control improvement alternatives for the Laurie Subdivision P.U.D. These three alternatives are calculated based on guidelines established in Section 2.3 of the City of Fort Collins Storm Drainage Design Criteria. Alternative "A". Rip Rap 50 C.Y. 20.00 1,000.00 TOTAL 2,000..00 Grading, paving and landscaping for this site are considered part of the building construction improvements. The security amount required for Alternative "A" will be 150% x $ 2,000.00 = $ 3,000.00 Page 2 of 2 December 28, 1992 Alternative "B". City of Fort Collins' Seeding Costs (Based on Annual Landscape Bid) Disturbed Area (1.38 Acres = 60,112.8 square feet) ITEM ITEM QUANTITY UNIT AMOUNT TOTAL NUMBER . COST 1 Revegetation 60,112.8 Sq. Ft. $ 0.0294 $ 1,767.32 TOTAL $ 1,767.32 The security amount required for Alternative "B" will be 150% x $ 1,767.32 = $ 2,650.98 Alternative "C". Minimum Costs A minimum of $ 1-000.00 has been established for erosion control security amounts. Based on this analysis, Alternative "A" should be used to establish the cost for erosion control rehabilitation. $ 3,000.00 should be provided as the erosion control security amount.
