The following letter is intended to serve as a recap of the status of the site certification for
Landings Bay.
On March 15, 2000, we submitted a certification for the pond and outlet structure. This was
submitted so the contractor could proceed with landscaping the pond area.
We then submitted a second certification letter on May 10, 2000, stating that all of the drainage
improvements had been installed with the exception of the final asphalt. Based on the
improvements completed at that date, we requested that the City release an additional 25% of the
available building permits, or 50% for the site. When the asphalt surface had been completed, we
would provide the City with an As -Built of the site grading/drainage improvements (minus
finished floors and minimum opening elevations, which will need to be done separately, as
buildings are constructed).
Therefore, it would be my understanding that the contractor should be able to obtain at a
minimum of 50% of their available permits at this time. We are currently working on verifying the
grading/drainage for the site, and will be submitting the results to your office for your files.
