Dear Jay,
We are pleased to submit this letter which certifies that the constructed detention pond for The
Human Bean — North College Avenue site is in general conformance to the approved drainage
and grading plan by Interwest Consulting Group dated/approved on 5/5/05. The Engineering
Company (TEC) surveyed the new detention pond and outlet structure on Tuesday September 6,
2005. The result of this survey indicates that the new detention pond has adequate detention
volume per the approved "The Human Bean — North College Avenue" Drainage and Erosion
Control Report dated/approved on 5/3/05. The attached calculation shows both the designed
volume of 4,369 cubic feet and the constructed volume of 4,746 cubic feet.
From our site visit on Monday 9/12/05 it appeared that all permanent erosion control measures
are in and constructed per approved plan and drainage report as mentioned above. We have
attached a record contour drawing and stage -storage calculation of the new detention pond for
your review.
