Storm Drainage Department City of Fort Collins Fort Collins, Colorado 80522 Re: Sunstone Village Seventh Subdivision PUD (7th Filing) Final Storm Drainage Certification —F-,,21 Dear Glen, It is a pleasure to provide this final engineer's certification that the storm drainage and erosion control improvements have been completed in the referenced subdivision. The interim certification issued by this office on May 24, 1993 and Storm Drainage Certification dated June 29, 1993 confirmed that the storm drainage improvements had been completed, and that a red -lined field survey confirmation of elevations was forthcoming. Said confimation is included with this letter. The elevations show (as was expected, since I was directly involved in the field construction activities) that the improvements were built according to plan. ,-1 Accordingly, I hereby request that the Erosion Control Escrow be reduced by 75 percent and that all building permits and certificates of occupancy be granted for Sunstone Village 7th Filing. Sincerely, Dennis L. Donovan, P.E. Managing Partner Land Development Services 309 W. The interim certification issued by this office on May 24, 1993 listed the following items that had not been completed: I. The sediment trap at the upstream end of the 18 inch storm drainage culvert in the detention pond area has not been installed. 2. Seeding and landscaping of the detention pond area (i.e. Tract A) has not yet occured. 3. The Final Storm Drainage Report must be resubmitted to provide riprap sizing calculations and other minor revisions. Field elevation shots will be obtained and shown on the drawings as a part of the Final Engineering Certification. All of the items listed above, except the field elevation shots have been completed. I understand that Intermill Land Survey will provide that information tomorrow or Thursday. At that time I will submit the additional information as a part of this certification, and will request that the Erosion Control Escrow be reduced by 75 percent. Sincerely, Dennis L. Donovan, P.E.. Mr. Glen Schlueter May 24, 1993 Storm Drainage Department City of Fort Collins Fort Collins, Colorado 80522 Re: Sunstone Village Seventh Subdivision PUD (7th Filing) Interim Storm Drainage Certification Dear Glen, It is our understanding that this interim certification is necessary to allow additional building permits to be issued in the referenced subdivision. The improved lots and associated storm drainage and erosion control improvements are, for the most part, complete and functioning as intended. Accordingly, this letter is provided to confirm that the required Storm Drainage improvements have been completed in compliance with the Overall Storm Drainage and Erosion Control Plan prepared by this office for the referenced single family subdivision; subject to the following conditions: 1. It is our understanding that all of the items listed above will be completed in the next two to three weeks, weather permitting. We hope that this eliminates any concern on the part of the City regarding the subdivision improvements, and that the City will allow additional building permits to be granted in the 7th Filing while these matters are being handled.
