Re: Drainage Certification, Lot 14,QHuntington-Hills-PUD,, Fourth:Filing
Dear Matt,
On August 15, 1996, the above -referenced lot was surveyed to determine the final grade
elevations of significant locations around the lot as well as the elevations of the first floor and
lowest opening to the structure. On August 19 and 20, 1996, trips were made to the site to
ensure that the necessary fill was placed at the southwest corner of the lot. The resulting final
grade is in conformity to the approved grading plan included in the Final Utility Plans (approved
July 1994) and the grading plan shown in the report entitled, "Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analysis
of Stone Creek," dated February 1996 (recently approved by Stormwater Utility).
The first floor elevation is 4929.65, which is approximately 5.3 feet higher than elevations along
the front lot line, resulting in positive drainage away from the house along the front. The lowest
opening elevation (a walk -out basement door on the south side of the house) is 4920.39, which
is 1.31 feet above the freeboard elevation in Stone Creek during a 100-year flood. The
elevations along the south lot line correspond to the freeboard elevation of Stone Creek during
a 100-year event, as shown in the Stone Creek report. There is positive drainage away from
the house along both sides; the east lot line is very near design grades and will not pose
problems to the owner of the adjacent lot.
With regards to lot drainage, a Certificate of Occupancy can be issued for the structure on this
lot. If you need additional information, please call as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
