Drainage Certification
Dear Jay,
This letter is in regards to the Spanjer Office Building on Cameron Drive, more specifically, to
the as -constructed key drainage features. Based on survey information provided to our office by
RJL Surveys August 22, 2003, all drainage features will operate as designed. There are some
discrepancies between the actual and design elevations, this is due to inaccurate existing
topography, however the overall intent of the drainage plan is achieved. Water quality capture
volumes were not determined from this survey as an accurate surface could not be constructed
from the information, yet given that the actual spot elevations shown are at or below proposed
grade for both WQCV A and WQCV B, it would stand to reason that the ponds have adequate or
even excessive volume provided. The swales, crosspans, outlets, and sidewalk chases do provide
mitigation for the developed condition and does essentially perform in accordance with the intent
of the final drainage study and per the City of Fort Collins Stormwater Design Criteria.
A sketch of the drainage facilities is included with this certification, please feel free to call with
any questions you may have regarding this letter.
