This correspondence shall serve as certification that all engineering designs and construction work
on the above -referenced project to date have been completed in accordance withall applicable
City of Fort Collins technical standards/specifications and the construction plans approved by
the City of Fort Collins.
The relative elevations of the as -built conditions were surveyed by a registered Professional Land
Surveyor at Ayres & Associates at all relevant locations. In my professional judgment, the relative
elevations and drainage patterns as measured are in substantial conformance with the approved
drainage and final grading plan for the referenced project. In addition, pond volume was calculated
for the water quality pond on the site and the volume was found to be at least 169 cubic feet as
required by the plans approved by the City of Fort Collins.
Any variations from the originally approved construction plans are noted in the enclosed "Record
Drawings". These variations are considered to be within the tolerances of standard construction
techniques and do not significantly affect the original design.
Due to concerns voiced by the neighboring property, the City staff felt the best solution was to
eliminate the pond in it's constructed location and include the water quality mitigation required for
this project with the future parking lot expansion on the west side of the Fort Collins Club. The area
where the pond is being removed will still need to function as an outfall for the drainage that was
originally designed to flow there with the Fort Collins Club expansion. A revision to the approved
plans has been submitted to the City for approval.
