Dear Sirs: On January 10, 2002, we observed the MOP site located within the Oakridge Business Park. Although 1-3 inches of snow were left on landscaped areas, the site appeared to be final graded. In addition to our observation, Absolute Surveying obtained spot elevations at numerous spots throughout the site. Please refer to the attached elevation sheet. Based on our observation and the attached surveyed information, the site appeared to drain away from the building. The parking lots, the areas south of the building, and a portion of the area east of the building drained to two inlets within the parking lot as designed. The areas north and west of the building appeared to drain north and west into two area inlets, although these areas were covered with snow at the time of the site visit. The entrance to the site drained south undetained towards Oakridge Drive into the two inlets and the trench drain. The sidewalk culvert in the public sidewalk north of Oakridge Drive was in place. The spot elevations obtained by Absolute Surveying tended to agree with the design spot elevations. However, the sidewalk directly south of the building appeared to be built slightly higher than designed. Also observed was the absence of orifice plates on the release structure and the absence.of the curb cut at the curb -cut release located downstream of the pond. The contractor called the "sub" while we were there to install the curb cut. Our recommendations were based on our observation on the dated noted above.
