I, Brian W. Shear , a Colorado registered professional engineer, verify that the above
referenced property in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, has been inspected by me or an appropriately
qualified professional under my direct supervision, and verify that construction of all stormwater facilities and
grading is complete, and that the elevations and drainage patterns shown on the attached drawing(s) which
were developed from a survey performed on (Date): August 11, 2009 , accurately and truly depict the
elevations and drainage patterns as they existed on the date of the survey. Based on this information, I certify
that (check one):

Building Envelope 4 (105 South Taft Hill Road); Fort Collins, Colorado
Dear Mr. Barber,
Final grading for Building Envelope 4 generally meets the grading design intent noted on the
Master Grading Plan, Sheet 5 of 13 of the Final Utility Plans for Cherokee Flying Heights by
Shear Engineering Corporation; Project No: 1760-01-00; City of Fort Collins City Engineer
approval date 04/22/03.
The curbed channel placed along the south boundary of Cherokee Flying Heights was not
installed correctly with a tall curb as noted on the small detail on the Final Grading Plan. The
flowline of the curbed channel was therefore higher than the design flowline noted on the
subdivision plans. A swale was staked from the end of the curbed channel along the south
boundary to the southwest comer of the house.
All grading (with field modifications) generally meets the intent of the Master Grading Plan,
Sheet 5 of 13 of the Final Utility Plans for Cherokee Flying Heights.
