The final grades were shot of the property and do adhere to the general grade and drainage on the site plan. The homeowners, Gary and Linda Ellis, asked us to leave this dirt for their landscape use. The plan is to add this material to the top of existing grade directly off their patio to raise it a few inches higher. They will maintain their grade lines while doing this to insure proper positive drainage as per the site plan. You've seen how we normally leave our finished sites, so know that we typically haul off all excess dirt. In this case we were asked to leave the dirt to avoid the significant cost to haul offsite, then re load and haul back to the property after final inspection. The balance of the property has been fine graded complete with compost as required where lawn and landscape work is to be placed and that work does adhere to the filed site plan on file with the permit application and was signed off by the engineer of record. The bulk and remainder of the dirt will be used to create some landscape berms near the rear of the property where there are now low areas towards the fence, again while maintaining the prescribed drainage and drainage swales away from the house as required. Ridgeway Construction Services will not be performing this work as the homeowner will perform the . landscape materials and work this summer.
