Box 182 Colorado Springs, CO 80901-0182 (719) 633-4713 (719) 633-9508 FAX After reviewing the as -built grade shots for the Swale auMountain_Gymnastics; I recognized a discrepancy between the design fall of the swale versus the as -built conditions as follows: design fall is 1.4% versus the as -built fall of 1.2%. It is my understanding that the concrete trickle channel shown on the attached design drawing , was deleted. Because of this change we were not able to achieve the 1.4% design fall, however; water will still flow to and pass under the bike path per design. Therefore, it is my opinion that the swale is graded to the proper fall/ elevation to meet the desired function. The condition at the invert of the subsurface drainage pipe located at the bike path is as follows: The Neenan Company has installed a curb inlet filter meeting the specifications of the" City of Fort Collins, Colorado Stormwater Utility Detail # D-25" (also attached).
