Partial Grading and Drainage Improvements

Dear Jay:
We have completed our review of the as -constructed grading and drainage improvements for the above referenced project as it relates to
the approved Final Utility Plan design. This certification is intended to verify compliance of the constructed grading and drainage
improvements for a portion of the approved construction plans entitled "Final Utility Plans for The Preserve at the Meadows." This
partial certification is intended to supplement and complete the previous Partial Grading and Drainage Certification letter from Northern
Engineering Services, Inc dated October 23, 2002.
A field survey of the site was conducted by Frederick Land Surveying in January of 2003 and has been used to verify general
conformance to the Plans. A record set of the construction. plan will be provided from our office, which shows the as -constructed storm
drainage improvements in order to document the surveyed information. Based on the survey data provided by Frederick, all storm sewer
elevations and drainage patterns appear to be constructed consistent with the intent of the final grading and drainage design. There are
minor grading inconsistencies throughout the site; however, the overall drainage patterns were not altered by these modifications.
The project engineer conducted a site visit on January 8, 2003 to verify grading and drainage improvements and flow patterns. Since the
completion of the New Mercer Ditch realignment, Storm Line PI-B has been constructed and the final grading for Swale A/B was
completed per plan.
To the best of my knowledge, belief, and opinion, the grading and drainage improvements for The Preserve at the Meadows are
constructed in substantial compliance with the design intent of the approved construction drawings. If you require additional
