Collins, CO CDS Project No. 07-4264 Dear Mr. Barber. This letter is written in regard to the grading of the property, 3027 Old Dominion Court, Fort Collins, Colorado. A low spot in the northwest comer of the lot contains mature trees that were not removed, due to the desire of the home builder to keep this established landscaping in place. The trees lie in a "hole" that will undoubtly fill with water during storm events. Based on the site survey and my site visit, I believe that stormwater that overtops the bank of the low area will drain off of the site before it enters the lowest opening of this house. To date, no other houses have been built in this vicinity. However, based on the top -of - foundation elevations on the approved grading plan, it does not appear that surrounding houses would be flooded, should water in the low area of this site overtop the bank.
