Collins, Colorado Elements Rejuvenating Spa and Wellness Center Dear Jay, This letter serves as final certification for the above referenced address according to the requirements of the Stormwater Utility in the Stormwater Building Permit Notice for this address dated 04/11/00. This site lies on the north side of East Harmony Road. The original structures are at elevations which- are- lower than the grade of.East Harmony Road. The existing structures are older strucitires:'-This' pr6ject'consists of the construction of a wood framed addition placed between two'(2)"existing structures. Refer to the attached Site Plan. This site is not part of a development which had arformal approved grading plan. No site specific grading plan was prepared for this siee' fO the proposed -addition. Sli6rrEngmeering Corporation first visited the site on.Monday, May 14, 2001. Downspouts and landscaping had recently been installed in the front at the south side of the structure: Grading was found to be inadequate based on generally accepted grading and drainage standards. On Wednesday, May 16, 2001, Shear Engineering Corporation was present to shoot existing grades and provide specific recommendations concerning final grading. Generally, the from. (South) portion of the site is graded to convey stormwater in a wcst::71;1 direction to an existing lined ditch to the west of the site. Refer to the attached Site Plan. The existing ditch conveys stormwater southerly under East Harmony Road. The rear (north) portion of the site has a courtyard type arrangement. Stormwater has been historically conveyed to an existing irrigation ditch which is situated on the north side of this property. No changes to the historic drainage pattern was recommended on the north side of the structure. On Friday, May 18, 2001, Shear Engineering conducted final observations in order to confirm that all grading work was completed in full accordance with the recommendations of Shear Engineering Corporation. Final grading had been completed according to the specific recommendations, and to the satisfaction of Shear Engineering Corporation.
