Sife Drainage Certification
Jay, //n%% rmrrny
We have been requested to provide a drainage certification for the Centennial Bank site located at
Harmony Marketplace. This verification of drainage facilities is based on survey information
provided to Northern Engineering by Growling Bear Co. Inc., and on a site inspection by myself
on April 28, 2000.
The following items composing the stormwater conveyance system have been installed.
The curb opening, concrete V pan, sidewalk culvert, and connection to the existing curb
inlet along the easterly boundary of the site.
The curb opening, concrete V pan, sidewalk culvert connecting to the existing drainage
channel south of the site.
There were no items observed which were shown on the approved plans, as a part of the
stormwater conveyance system, which have not been installed.
The finished floor of the building was reported to be approximately 4977.00.
This system in general conveys stormwater flows to the existing conveyance system which routes
flows under and across McMurray Drive, easterly and parallel to Harmony Road to a point just
east of the City of Fort Collins Electrical substation, then north to the existing Golden Meadows
Regional Detention facility. The open channel south of the Centennial Bank site, the storm sewer
under McMurray Drive and Innovation Drive were certified as a part of the Harmony Safeway
Marketplace project. The remainder of the existing conveyance system, which was improved by
the Golden Meadows Homeowners association and the City of Fort Collins, was either certified
by others, or was determined to be adequate by City staff.
