complete, and the elevations and drainage patterns shown on the attached drawing(s) which were

elevations and drainage patterns as they existed on the date of the survey. Based on this information, I

Stantec has completed a survey of the detention pond within Harmony Technology Park Third
Filing. This letter is to inform you of the available volume for detention. The table below is a
summary of the available and provided volume. In Stantecs opinion the volume is within
sufficient tolerance and acceptable for adequate detention. The does not relieve the owner of
completing a drainage certification after project completion.

Re: Grading Certification for Harmony Technology Park 3`d Filing Lot 2
Dear Mr. Barber:
The purpose of this letter is to certify that the grading of Lot 2 of Harmony Technology Park 3`d
Filing is in general conformance with the City approved drainage and grading plan with several
minor exceptions.
Northern Engineering visited the site on November 25, 2008, to record spot elevations of building
corners, drive isles, and the parking lots. Northern Engineering again visited the site on January
27, 2009, to record spot elevations of the lot corners and the building finish floor.
Stantec Consulting Ltd. reviewed the topographic information provided by Northern Engineering.
In general, the recorded spot elevations were within acceptable construction tolerances.
However, several recorded spot elevations were outside of acceptable construction tolerances.
The most significant of these areas was east of the trash enclosure along the south wall of the
truck docks. Elevations differed as much as 0.38' from the approved utility plans. The contractor
indicated that the grading was altered due to modifications to the trash enclosure and input from
the client regarding operation of the truck docks. The basic drainage concept as depicted in the
approved utility plans was not modified and no adverse effect is expected.
Stantec Consulting Ltd. visited the site on Monday 26, 2009, to inspect grading, drainage patterns
and landscaping. Landscaping around the building does not appear to interfere with the proposed
drainage patterns. No low spots were observed in the landscaped areas, drive isles, or parking
lots. Additionally, no cross lot drainage to or from adjacent lots outside of drainage easements is
expected.
This certification is signed and stamped by a professional engineer registered in the State of
Colorado. By signing this certification the engineer attests that to the best of his (her) knowledge
the surveyed grading as shown in the enclosed certification is in compliance with the approved
grading plan for this lot and subdivision as shown on the approved utility plans.

Failure to disclose all known information could result in the rejection of this certification and
could cause the withholding of the certificate of occupancy for this lot until corrective action has
been taken.
