RE: Drainage Certification for Phase III, Greenstone P.U.D.
Dear Basil,
Enclosed please find Sheet 5A with as -built information for culverts located within base 111. Tae
improvements were surveyed January 13, 1996 by others with data being provided to us. Culvert
i:lf_)nrat;on was indicated on Sheet 5A on January 29, 1996. Field survey data also included swale
and detention pond topographic survey. It was determined at that time the improvements were
substantially in conformance with the approved plans and report on file with the City of Fort Collins.
One exception to this was the lack of off -site swales indicated east of the Union Pacific R_aihoad.
According to Jay Stoner _on November 10, 1997, the Natural Resources Department determined that
these swales were undesirable and preferred to leave the area natural. We agree with this
recommendation, especially since this runoff goes the same place with or without this swale. We are
now finalizing the drainage certification by forwarding this letter to you.
