Re: The Meadows at Fox Creek PUD: Concrete Drain Pan
Dear Jay,
I was requested by Jim Manion to inspect the concrete drain pan between lots 9 and 10 at the
Meadows at Fox Creek. These two lots are along the east side of Moore Lane and near its
south end. The concrete pan was designed by Ayres Associates as shown on Sheet 2 .
(Grading, Drainage, and Erosion Plan, Final Conditions), which was approved in January 1997.
The concrete pan was recently constructed and is in general conformance with the design
drawings. It was originally intended to have concrete side walls 1-foot high, but they were built
approximately 1.5-feet high in order to flatten the approaching side slopes to less than 4:1. It is
my opinion that the pan will function as intended and that it can be accepted by the City. An as -
built survey was done and spot elevations in addition to the alignment of the pan are illustrated
in the attached drawing.
