RE: Swale Certification for 1400 Wintergreen Way
Dear Mr. Hamdan:
On April 26, 1996 we performed a field observation on the house located at the above
address. The top of the foundation is at an elevation that will allow proper drainage away
from the foundation. The front yard drains onto Wintergreen Way, while the East side yard
drains away from the foundation and toward the lot to the East which is vacant. The West
side of the house drains away from the foundation to the West into a swale section which
takes the drainage away in both a Northerly and Southerly direction. The South side of the
house drains to the South into a concrete swale which flows to the West.

This letter is to verify that all concrete drain pans have been constructed for the
6rccmbriar Village 2nd Piling, As -built information on the pans indicate the will function
:zs designed. In roost cases, grades are at or greater than called for on the construction
drawings. In a few instances, grades were fbttttd to be less than proposed on the
drawings, but a review of those areas indicate slope is still adequate to convey the design
100yr !lows within the appropriate easements.
Calculations confirming this are included with this letter, as are biueline copies of
Sheets 4 and 4-A of the construction drawings, The bluelines have been redlined to show
a�s•btriit alevations acenitting to' an as -built field survey,
Final grading has not been completed to date. This includes miscellaneous clean-
up work, and final grading to the edges of the retention on the east side of Redwood
Street..
