'44"ee&a, ed 80538 (970) 461-0550 9, 42 09701 461-0551 July 8, 2008 City of Fort Collins Stormwater Utility 700 Wood Street Fort Collins, CO 80526 STORAAWATER RECEIVED JUL 0 8 2008 RE: Drainage Certification for Lot 3, Block 1, McClelland's Creek PD & PLD, City of Fort Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado (aka 3615 Muskrat Creek Drive). 1-12' Dear Sirs: On July 8, 2008, we observed the site at 3615 Muskrat Creek Drive. The site had been final graded. In addition to our observation, Frederick Land Surveying, Inc., obtained spot elevations at numerous spots throughout the site. Please refer to the attached elevation sheet. Based on our observation and the attached surveyed information, the site appeared to drain away from the building. The western side of the lot drains westerly into a drainage swale between this lot and the adjacent lot (Lot 2) which drains to Muskrat Creek Drive. The eastern side of the lot drains easterly into a drainage swale between this lot and the adjacent lot (Lot 4) which drains to Muskrat Creek Drive. The south side of the lot (the back yard) per the grading plan should have a high point located approximately 7 feet east of the southwest rear corner of the building, but the high point appears to be located approximately 12 feet from the southwest corner of the building. The Top of Foundation elevation given by Frederick Land Surveying, Inc. is 93.6 feet. The design elevation of the top of foundation was given as 93.55 feet. The site does appears to conform to the Grading Plan — Sheet G1 of 21 — of McClelland's Creek PD & PLD — prepared by Northern Engineering Services, Inc., dated 4/18/06, except for the slight change in the high point. The slight difference in the high point does not have an impact on the drainage plan because the entire lot is within the same basin. Therefore, the site appears to conform to the Overall Drainage Exhibit — Sheet DR — of McClelland's Creek PD & PLD— prepared by Northern Engineering Services, Inc., dated 4/18/06. Our certifications were based on our observation on the date noted above. The geotechnical report was not provided to us, therefore we cannot determine if the site has been graded according to the geotechnical report. _,t� -71, � If you have any questions, please contact me at the above address or phone number.
