Dear Jay,
This letter serves as final certification for the above referenced address. Certifications include the
items noted below:
• Grading certification
• Swale certification
• Finished floor elevation certification
• Property's lot corner elevation certification
• Lowest building opening elevation certification
A formal, lot specific grading plan was not prepared by this office. A grading plan was prepared
by John Rentfrow of Rentfrow Illustrations and is attached for immediate reference.

Direction_'was•given for'certain �niodificatioh'w cations., whicere requir'ed'to `obtain 'compliance with
the 'subdivision grading plari.'Although the'existing`finish floor elevation is 4894.31','the sunken
living room condition in the northwest corner of the house does not allow the exterior grade at
this location to be much greater than the 4891' 13 elevation it is currently. Given this condition at
this house corner, the design intent of the original subdivision grading plan and the proximity of
the house to the northern and western property lines, the standard minimum two percent (2%)
positive drainage away from the residence was not achievable along the western property line
and the swale to the north of the residence. The slope of the western property line to the street the
northern swale flowing to the street have been constructed at approximately 1.60% and 1.62%
respectively.
There was no house on Lot 20 at the time of final grading for Lot 21 and at the time of our final
field shots. The property line grades were set to accommodate final grading for Lot 20 when it is
developed.
Grading modifications were provided as directed. All final grading is now�domplete, functions
properly and generally- meets the intent of the'original subdivision grading *and drainage design
according .to the Final Utility'Plans for"Fossil Lake'P.U.D. by, Northern Engineering; Northern
Project No. §812:00; L:arimeirCounty Engineer approval date O5/19/99, the site specific"grading
plan prepared by Rentfrow'Illustrations`and.the- direction'of Shear Engineering Corporation.
