RE: Drainage Certification for Lot S. Block 7, Fossil Lake P.U.D.; First Filing, ~City of Fort
Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado (aka 3247 Kingfisher Court),
Dear Lisa:
On December 17, 2001, we observed tho site located on at 3247 Kingfisher Cotter. The site had
been final graded.
In addition to our observation, Absolute Surveying obtained spot elevations. at numerous spots
throughout the site. Please refer to the attached elevation sheet.
Based on our observation and the attached surveyed information, the site appeared to drain away
from the building. The eastern and western sides of the lot drained towards swales that drain
northerly to Kingfisher Court. The lot font drain toward the northern property boundary. The
back of the lot drains southerly away from the building and then either to the eastern or western
Swale. The western swale appeared to be shallower than designed and may even have a flat spot
near the southwestern boundary, however, the survey shows that the lot does slope tom south to
north along the western boundary, The survey shows that the eastern swale may have a flat or
high spot new the eastern boundary. The southern boundary appears to be lower than the design.
Otherwise, the existing grading appears to follow the proposed grading.
Our recommendations were based on our observation on the date noted above.
