Dear Jay,
This letter certifies that the constructed detention and water quality pond for the Evangelical
Covenant Church located at 4825 South Lem ay Avenue is in general conformance to the
approved drainage and grading plan. JR Engineering surveyed the top, bottom and outlet
structure of the pond on August 19, 2005. The results of this survey indicate that the record
water quality pond volume of 5,427 cubic feet exceeds the required water quality capture volume
of 3,879 and the total detention volume of 32,370 cubic feet exceeds the required total detention
volume of 31,474 cubic feet inclusive of the detention volume capacity in the parking lot. All of
the pond outlets have been constructed with positive drainage. The record invert elevation of the
water quality structure is 4978.11, which is 0.31 feet higher than the designed elevation of
4977.80 feet. The record water quality surface elevation of 4977.66 is 0.36 feet higher than the
design of 4979.3 feet. The water quality outlet structure is in general conformance per the
approved plans and the overflow elevations are per the approved plans. Please see the attached
as -built survey of the site detention pond.
The required water quality capture volumes (WQCV) and required detention were obtained from
the "Utility Plans for Evangelical Covenant Church' dated February 14, 2005. Note that the
elevations as depicted herein may change subsequent to the date of the surveys due to natural
and/or artificial actions.
